Dr. Scott D. Miller is the President of Virginia Wesleyan University, a nationally-ranked institution of liberal arts and sciences situated in the heart of Virginia Beach. Before his tenure at Virginia Wesleyan, Dr. Miller served as President of Bethany College from 2007 to 2015, Wesley College from 1997 to 2007, and Lincoln Memorial University from 1991 to 1997. A journalist by trade, his journey in academia began as he assumed pivotal roles such as Executive Vice President and Vice President for Development at Lincoln Memorial University. Earlier in his career, he was director of college relations and alumni affairs at Rio Grande College (now University) in Ohio.
